Swell draws from the movement of the sea, where water rises and falls in broad, rolling forms. The stacked ceramic layers create a sense of rhythm and repetition, their irregular edges echoing the contours shaped by water.

The pale blue and cream surfaces bring a sense of depth to the composition, while the illuminated globe introduces warmth against the cooler tones of the ceramic.
